The Miracle Worker
The Miracle Worker is a series of scenes derived from the autobiography of Helen Keller, 'The Story of My Life'. It focuses on the relationship between the deafblind and initially dysfunctional Helen Keller (Emma Henderson) and her teacher, Annie Sullivan (Emily Eaton).
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Councils of Bernardston, Conway, Charlemont/Hawley, Gill, Leyden, and Northfield; local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Rick Mauran
Director
Rick, a recent Greenfield resident and TCP Board member, is an actor, musician, teacher, and experienced builder, lighting and set designer. His talents have been developed through work with Suzanne Lowell Lighting, New City Scenic, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Wheelock Family Theatre, and the Boston Conservatory. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Rick has appeared on stage in TCP's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in 2008, and was Technical Director for Oliver! in 2009.
Emma Henderson
"Helen Keller"
Emma Henderson of Southampton has most recently portrayed Oliver Twist in TCP's summer musical production. She has performed with a variety of companies around the valley, appearing as Marta in Broad Brook Opera House’s Sound of Music, Cindy Lou Who in Amherst Leisure Service’s Seussical, the Musical, Lucy McFadden in Exit 7 Theatre’s The Goodbye Girl, and Carol Ann in ACT’s In Good Spirits. Emma can also be heard singing “I Love My Mom” on the Parent’s Choice Gold Award winning CD ”I Miss the Mud” by Dennis Caraher.
Emily Eaton
"Annie Sullivan"
Emily Eaton is a Greenfield resident and theater student at Greenfield Community College where she appeared in the student production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. A graduate of Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, she has appeared on the Shea stage as Officer Pudney in Neil Simon's Rumors, as Mina in Count Dracula, and Candy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
