Director

Sara, 24, is a Greenfield resident and serves on the Board of Directors of The Country Players. She began dancing with Karen's Dance Studio at age five and discovered theater at Pioneer Regional High School a few years later. She began working with TCP in 2003 with her first role as Kristine in A Chorus Line. She has continued her theater studies and performed at GCC, MCLA, Regis College, as well as Northfield Summer Theater and Shoestring Players. She has choreographed two previous summer musicals for TCP: Cinderella in 2006 and Wizard of Oz in 2007.

Erin Girouard

Music Director

Erin, 26, teaches elementary school music for the Athol Royalston School District and resides in Royalston. A graduate of Anna Maria college in Worcester, she is past-president of The Country Players Board of Directors. Erin was the Valley Idol 2008 and has recently recorded her first vocal CD. She served as music Director for TCP's Wizard of Oz in 2007. She previously worked for the Avon, MA schools and for Chestnut Hill's Brimmer and May School musical theater summer camp as a music specialist and assistant musical director.

Hayley Descavich

Hayley Descavich

Choreographer

Hayley, 19, is studying dance at the Hartt Conservatory at the University of Hartford, CT. A graduate of Stonleigh Burham School, she won the Senior Dance Award in 2008. Hayley has studied at the Paul Taylor Company, Steps Dance Studio and Broadway Dance Center in New York as well as the Goucher Summer Arts Institute in Baltimore and the New World School of the Arts National High School Dance Festival in Miami. She choreographed Schoolhouse Rock Live for TCP and has taught at the Sorvino Dance Intensive at SBS and in its Community Dance Program.

Rick Mauran

Rick Mauran

Technical Director

Rick, a recent Greenfield resident and TCP Board member, is an actor, musician, teacher, and experienced builder, lighting and set designer. His talents have been developed through work with Suzanne Lowell Lighting, New City Scenic, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Wheelock Family Theatre, and the Boston Conservatory. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He appeared on stage in TCP's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in 2008.
